Market scanner and analysis software development
You know what you are looking for. We build the scanner that finds it, across a large universe of symbols in real time, ranks the matches by your rules, and hands them to the rest of your system. You define the criteria. We build the engine.
What we build
A useful scanner is fast, honest and connected to what comes next. We build to your specification:
- Real-time screening. Your rules applied across a large universe of symbols, often enough that a match is still worth acting on when it appears.
- Your criteria, exactly. Whatever your rules use, price action, indicators, volume, fundamentals or your own custom measures, implemented as written.
- Ranking and alerts. Matches sorted the way you want them and surfaced through the alerts or dashboards that suit how you work.
- Straight into your system. Output that feeds directly into sizing, risk and execution, so there is no manual step between finding and acting.
Why a real scanner is harder than a filter
Filtering a small watchlist is easy. Scanning a whole market, in real time, without lying to you, is not:
- Scale and speed. Thousands of symbols evaluated fast enough to matter means the data and the code both have to be built for it.
- Clean data. Corporate actions, bad ticks and missing data quietly corrupt a scan unless they are handled first.
- Real-time versus end-of-day. A scan meant to act intraday has very different demands from one that runs after the close, and we build for the one you need.
Scanning a universe of equities is a common starting point. See stocks and ETF automation for that side, and our research and validation service for testing whether a scan rule actually holds up.
You set the rules. We build the scanner.
We are engineers, not advisers. You decide what the scanner looks for. It surfaces the symbols that match your rules, and what you do with them is your decision. We do not supply scan criteria as tips, we do not give trading calls, and we make no claim about returns. Most of this work sits inside our custom trading software service.
Common questions
- How many symbols can a scanner handle in real time?
- A universe of hundreds or thousands of symbols is normal. The engineering is in doing it fast, on clean data, and often enough to act on. We build the data handling and the scan engine so it keeps up with the market rather than lagging behind it.
- Can the scanner feed straight into execution?
- Yes. A scanner is most useful when its output flows directly into the rest of your system, so a candidate that meets your rules can be sized, risk-checked and acted on without a manual copy-and-paste step.
- Do you supply the scan criteria or the trade signals?
- No. You define the rules the scanner looks for. It surfaces the symbols that match, by your criteria, not ours. We do not give trading calls or tips, and we make no claim about returns. What to do with a result is your decision.
